Preparing for hearing

Once a date has been agreed upon and all précis of evidence/legal submissions have been received and exchanged in a timely manner (according to Valuation Tribunal Rules), a hearing will take place.

Hearings take place either remotely, in the Valuation Tribunal offices in Holles Street, Dublin 2, or off-site in a larger venue if there are a greater number of attendees/witness at the hearing. Appeal commence at either 10am or 2pm.

During the hearing, both the appellant and the respondent will have the opportunity to present their précis of evidence and to cross examine the other party.

The Tribunal Division assigned (3 Members) will close out the hearing once evidence and questioning has finished, and will determine a result in due course.
